“We reduced the sample-making timeline from three months to five weeks!”

Children’s Apparel Network is an American fashion company, founded in 1998, specializing in layette, newborn, and infant apparel for department stores, specialty boutiques, and major online retailers. The company produces both private-label basics and licensed-character merchandise such as Sesame Beginnings, Hello Kitty, and Disney.

Chrissy Vaccaro is passionately committed to process improvement, constantly exploring innovative ways to enhance efficiency and drive operational excellence. She came across Fermat on LinkedIn and was instantly captivated by its elegant design and exceptional execution. She wondered, “How could this be integrated into our company?”

“Fermat helped our team convert sketches into renders and then into flat drawings, saving time and eliminating the need for manual redrawing.”

"Photography follows a rigid timeline, making it hard to get samples before production. With Fermat, that hassle is gone; it streamlined the process!"

“We began by laying out the entire process from the start, working through each step systematically. Next, we set out to determine how to integrate our licensed ideas into this framework; for example, what unique, 'Micky Mouse-specific' elements it might offer that we had not considered or that were not already available in the market. Finally, we explored how to incorporate these ideas into the technical version of our process.”

“The key to being a good leader in general is to know you don’t know everything and have the people to know”

“You’ve been so wonderful in guiding us where we need to go and making the program better and better very day”
